Banana Peanut Butter Green Smoothie

I love smoothies because they’re so easy to make. It’s perfect when I’m in a rush in the morning! Which is almost all the time, because I always lay in bed for a while before getting up. It’s impossible for me to get out of bed right when my alarm goes off. I need to lay in bed for around 10-20 minutes. I’m lazy. Anyone else do this?

Anyways.. smoothies. I just throw whatever I want in the blender, put it in a mason jar & I’m good to leave the house. So convenient!

Ingredients: (Makes 2 cups)
1 banana
1 pineapple spear
1 cup fresh spinach leaves
1 tbsp peanut butter
10 almonds
1/4 cup almond milk

Directions:
1. Get all your ingredients together

2. And blend it all together!

3. Pour it into a mason jar & you’re ready to leave the house within 2 minutes! So easy right? Smoothies are a perfect to-go breakfast.

Add some extra fruit on top if you like. I like blueberries 🙂

I had two cookies for breakfast as well. 2 ingredient cookies made of just bananas & oats!

This smoothie contains healthy fats, carbohydrates & protein to start your day. It’s also a great post-workout smoothie as well, just add 1 scoop protein powder.

So delicious. Play around with your fruits and vegetables! Try different combinations & find your favorite one 🙂 There’s no need to stick to one recipe all the time. Making food is like art. Have fun with it!
