Cinnamon Almond French Toast w/ Raspberry Chia Jam & Honey


I made this recipe 2 weeks ago!

I was confused when I saw the coconut oil wasn’t in liquid form… haha. Coconut oil has been known to be “bad” because 90% of it’s calories are from saturated fats. However, there are many many benefits that come from coconut oil. Of course you aren’t going to drain your foods in coconut oil, but using it once in a while is a good health benefit 🙂

2 slices of Ezekiel Whole Grain Toast (160 calories)
1/2 cup almond milk (20 calories)
1 egg (80 calories)
A bit of vanilla extract & cinnamon

1/3 apple (27 calories)
1/4 cup blueberries (21 calories)
Drizzle of raspberry chia jam (61 calories)
1 1/2 tbsp honey (90 calories)


1. Get all your ingredients ready for this amazing delicious french toast.


2. Mix the almond milk, egg, vanilla extract & cinnamon together in a bowl. This is going to be your batter to dip your bread in.


3. When hot, add a little bit of coconut oil onto your pan. Completely dip in your slices of bread into the batter on both sides, and then gently place into the pan. You can pour some of the batter into the pan along with the slices of bread.

4. Flip & cook until golden brown. Add your raspberry chia jam, apple slices, blueberries & drizzle a bit of honey on the top for some amazing sweetness.


ENJOY IT. It smelled so strong & wonderful as I was cooking it. Nothing is worse than being hungry while cooking 🙁 I devoured this.

Yum, yum yum! I really like the Ezekiel bread because it’s not flimsy like other breads 😛
