Revitalizing Orange-Carrot Smoothie

IMG_5154

I recently bought a Nutri Ninja at Costco and I love it! I’ve been using it to make smoothies, juices, baking batters, etc! I also have a magic bullet, which is a lot smaller. I use that for blending up oats to make oat flour. Woohoo, more homemade juices! Less spending money on buying green juices which are $5-6 each.

Recipe Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 large orange
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices
  • 1/2 cup baby carrots
  • 3/4 cup coconut water
  • 3-4 ice cubes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Honey (optional)

Directions:

  1. Peel orange into small slices.
  2. Add carrots, cucumber, orange, ice cubes & coconut water (in that order)
  3. Blend until smooth.

When blending, ice cubes should be closest to the blade & veggies should be farthest from the blade!
