Oat Waffles (4 Ingredients)

Good morning & Happy Sunday! 🙂 I’ve been making an effort to make waffles for breakfast once a week. Ya girl needs her waffle fix! My breakfasts are usually oatmeal bowls, toast & more bowls. It’s quick to prepare, healthy & delicious. I really enjoy getting creative with my toppings and making all kinds of unique combinations. Sometimes I regret some combos because they don’t go well together… but everything in the kitchen is trial and error. I learn as I go! We all start somewhere!!

-1/2 cup oat flour (ground up raw oats in your blender)
-1 scoop (1 1/2 tbsp) Natural Citizen Organic Protein (WINNIESBALANCE for $10 off)
-1/2 cup almond milk
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1. Mix all 5 ingredients together, pour into heated waffle maker.
2. Wait 5-7 minutes or until the green ready light is on (Make sure you don’t open the waffle maker to check)
3. Top with all your favorite toppings! 

I added kiwi, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, sliced bananas, Kite Hill almond milk yogurt, bee pollen & Wild Friends peanut butter!! I’m not gonna lie… this place was empty within 2 minutes. Sometimes, I don’t even understand how I’m able to eat so quickly.

I always use this base recipe for my waffles because it’s simple & I love how it always turns out!

  1. I don’t have a waffle maker so I just made it like a huge pancake using coconut oil, and it turned out perfect! Thank you! So yum!
