Banana Nut French Toast

French toast has been one of my new favorite breakfast recipes! I go through different phases. I bounce back and forth between oatmeal, cereal, waffles, pancakes, sliced toast, english muffins, bagels and egg scrambles. As you can tell, I love breakfast.. my Instagram is basically 50% breakfast foods!

I made this at work the other day & I loved it so much I had to create it again! It only has 4 ingredients. I’m all about that easy recipe life!!

Prep Time: 5 minutes // Cook Time: 5 minutes // Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 


  • 2 slices sourdough toast
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Ghee


  1. In a small bowl, mix together eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract – set aside.
  2. Heat your cooking pan to medium heat – add 1 tsp of ghee butter and coat evenly.
  3. Completely submerge sourdough toasts into egg mixture.
  4. Place on pan – cook first side for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook other side of 1 minute or until golden brown.
  5. Serve with sliced fruit, maple syrup, banana nut butter granola and almond butter!
