Baked Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders

Switch up your typical pizza crust and make it on Hawaiian Rolls like I did!

Seriously though, these sliders are so good you will want to go back for seconds. This is also such an easy recipe you can prepare on any busy afternoon or weeknight. If you like soft hawaiian buns and melty cheese.. this is for you!







Okay, let’s get on with the recipe.

Hawaiian buns topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella and salami slices. I placed the sliders close together so they’re like pull-apart slider buns. So cheesy, so good!

This mustard garlic butter sauce is heavenly. It’s the perfect addition to the top of these buns!

I also added some red pepper flakes and extra mozzarella on top.

I don’t think pizza is complete without some red pepper flakes on top.

These buns didn’t last long on this plate. My brother tried 1 pizza slider and immediately asked for seconds!

Baked Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders

Hawaiian rolls stuffed and baked with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and salami. Give your pizza a twist with these delicious sliders!

Pizza Sliders

  • 4 small hawaiian slider buns
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella/cheese alternative
  • 8 slices Ollisalumeria Salami

Mustard Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 350F. 

  2. Slice all buns in half, horizontally. 

  3. On each bun, add 2 tbsp marinara, 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella and 2 slides salami.

  4. Place buns in a glass baking casserole or foil-lined baking tray and pour all the sauce on top, distributing evenly with a brush.

  5. Cover with foil and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese has melted.

  7. Remove from oven, add more shredded mozzarella/parmesan on top. Top with red pepper flakes!
