Fudgy and Chewy Walnut Brownies

These brownies are SO rich and fudgy! Walnuts are mixed into the batter for a perfect crunch in each bite. Made in one bowl and takes less than 30 minutes to make!

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup GF all-purpose flour regular all purpose works too
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup crushed walnuts


  • Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare 8x8 baking pan with oil spray or parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whip together eggs and coconut sugar until fluffy. Add in almond butter, coconut oil and vanilla.
  • Stir in flour, cacao powder, baking powder and sea salt.
  • Fold in crushed walnuts and transfer batter into baking tray.
  • Top with extra 1/4 cup walnuts and bake for 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into 16 squares!
