Korean Gochujang Chicken
Some flavor of heat with a mix of salty and sweet! This sauce is made with mirin, soy sauce, garlic and a dash of brown sugar! This sauce works great with baked salmon, chicken or tofu in bibimbap bowls!
Servings 4 servings
- 1 pound chicken breasts diced
- 2 tablespoons mild gochujang chili poaste
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- sesame seeds for topping
In a medium bowl, mix together gochujang, mirin, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic cloves and brown sugar/maple syrup.
Add in chicken to coat completely, marinate for 10 minutes, up to overnight of maximum flavor.
Preheat skillet to medium heat with sesame oil. Add chicken to cook until done! Top with sesame seeds before serving!
