Ingredients
1cupall-purpose flour
1tbspsugar
1tspbaking powder
Pinchof salt
1egg
3/4cupmilkany kind
2tbspoil or melted butter
1/2tspvanilla extractoptional
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then stir in milk, oil (or butter), and vanilla.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry and mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it.
Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden and crisp.
Top with maple syrup, nut butter, granola, and fruit - or whatever you love!
