Ingredients
2cupsflourI used 1 cup all-purpose + 1 cup whole wheat
1tbspbaking powder(gives them a nice fluffy rise)
½tspsalt
2eggs
1¾cupsmilk of choice(dairy, almond, oat, or whatever you like)
2tablespoonsmelted coconut oil or unsalted butter
1tspvanilla extract(adds that classic cozy flavor)
1tablespoonsugarOPTIONAL if you desire a big of sweetness
Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron.
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt. Add sugar if you want a hint of sweetness.
In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
