Ingredients
1/2lbground beef
1/4cupedamameshells and skin removed
1/4cupsteamed veggies of choicebroccoli and cauliflower work great
1egg
2tablespoonsall purpose flour
1/4teaspoongarlic powder
1/4teaspoondried thyme
Sea salt + black pepper
Instructions
Steam the broccoli and cauliflower until very soft. Finely chop and gently squeeze out any excess water.
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, edamame, chopped veggies, egg, flour, garlic powder, thyme, and salt (if using). Mix until well combined.
Form small, thin patties. Keeping them thin helps them cook evenly and gives them a tender texture.
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Cook patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
