Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 large grated carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Sea salt + black pepper

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef, grated carrot, egg, flour, garlic powder, thyme, and a pinch of sea salt and black pepper if using. Mix until fully combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small, thin patties. Keeping them thin helps them cook evenly and stay soft and tender for little ones.
  • Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
  • Let the patties cool slightly before serving to your toddler.
