Ingredients

Main:

  • 1 12-oz package of soft tofu
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb ground pork can sub ground beef or ground chicken
  • oil for cooking

Seasoning:

  • garlic powder or 4-5 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • white pepper

Optional toppings:

  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Steamed rice for serving

Instructions

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add oil. Add ground pork and garlic powder or minced garlic. Cook until browned.
  • Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Stir well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the mixture becomes glossy and flavorful. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add a little more oil. Add the silken tofu and gently break it up with a spatula.
  • Pour in the beaten eggs and cover with a lid. Let cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the eggs are almost fully set.
  • Add the cooked ground pork back on top and gently mix everything together.
  • Serve warm over rice and finish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
