Healthy 5-Ingredient Blueberry Yogurt Bagels

There’s something so satisfying about making your own bagels at home, especially when the ingredient list is this simple. These healthy 5-ingredient blueberry yogurt bagels are soft, fluffy, and naturally sweetened with blueberries, with no added sugar needed.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour plus about 1/4 cup extra for kneading
  • 1 cup whole milk yogurt can use any plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

For brushing on top:

  • 1 egg whisked

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add in yogurt and with your hands, mix into a dough. It should get sticky.
  • Transfer to a floured surface and knead until smooth, adding flour as needed.
  • Gently fold in blueberries.
  • Divide into 4 or 5, shape into bagels, and placed onto baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg, bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden.
  • Cool for 10 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
