Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or neutral oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder optional, for extra fluffiness
  • 1/2 cup raspberries and blueberries cut smaller if needed

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, yogurt, milk, and melted butter (or oil) until smooth.
  • Add in the flour and baking powder (if using). Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Gently fold in the berries, making sure they are evenly distributed.
  • Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease if needed.
  • Pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook according to your waffle maker instructions until golden and cooked through. Serve warm and enjoy!
