Ingredients
1egg
1/2cupplain yogurtfull-fat is great for littles
1/2cupmilk
1cupflourall-purpose or whole wheat
1tspbaking powderomit if under 1 year old
1/2tspcinnamon
1tbspmelted butter or coconut oil
1/2small sweet potatomashed (about 1/3 cup)
1/2ripe bananamashed
1/4cupblueberriesmashed or finely chopped for younger babies
Instructions
Steam sweet potato until very soft. Add it into a bowl along with banana and mash well until smooth.
Add in egg, milk, yogurt and milk.
Stir in flour, baking powder (if using), and cinnamon.
Gently fold in blueberries. Let batter rest 3–5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Cook in a lightly greased waffle maker until golden and cooked through.
