Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour all-purpose, whole wheat, or spelt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large steamed sweet potato about 1 1/4 cups
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Optional add-ins:

  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Add all ingredients to a food processor. Blend until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface. Cut into small cracker shapes (this is the fun part for toddlers) and use a toothpick to add a hole in the center.
  • Place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until lightly golden and set.
