Ingredients
1/2lbground turkey
1/4cupfinely diced zucchini
1/4cupfinely diced yellow squash
1egg
2tablespoonsall purpose flouroat flour, or finely ground rolled oats
1/4teaspoongarlic powder
1/4teaspoondried thyme
Instructions
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Add the finely diced zucchini and yellow squash.
Sauté for about 3 to 4 minutes until softened. Let cool slightly, then gently squeeze out any excess moisture with a paper towel.
In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed zucchini, sautéed yellow squash, egg, flour or oats, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix until well combined. Form small, thin patties.
Cook in a lightly oiled pan over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Let cool before serving. Cut into baby friendly pieces if needed.
