Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4-1/3 cup grated carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • pinch of sea salt optional

Instructions

  • Finely grate the carrot. If it’s very moist, gently pat or squeeze out excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated carrot, egg, flour, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small, thin patties.
  • Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
  • Let cool before serving. Cut into small, toddler-friendly pieces if needed.
