Here is the link to the sketchbook I have. It doesn’t bleed through even with sharpie, dot markers or the Crayola markers we use!
Perfect for quiet time, rainy days, or when you need a quick way to reset your toddler’s energy – these are mom-tested, toddler-approved, and totally doable.
1. Ladybugs And Bumblebees

Draw a few red and yellow circles to look like ladybugs and bumblebees. Your toddler can use dot markers or stickers to fill in each circle. Talk about bugs and colors while you play!
Skills practiced: Color recognition, fine motor, pretend play
2. Match The Shapes

Draw four basic shapes on a sheet of paper—square, circle, triangle, and rectangle. Then cut out matching shapes from colored paper. Your toddler matches each shape by form, not color.
Skills practiced: Shape recognition, critical thinking, sorting
3. Can You Match The Colors?

Draw five different colored circles on each side of the paper in mismatched rows. Your toddler’s job is to draw lines between the same colors, even if they don’t line up directly. Makes it a little more of a challenge!
Skills practiced: Color matching, visual perception, coordination
4. What Letter Is It?

Draw three big circles on a sheet of paper and label them with letters like A, B, and C. Write various letters on dot stickers and let your toddler match the correct stickers to the right circle.
Skills practiced: Letter recognition, matching, early literacy
5. Colorful Carrots

Draw the outline of six carrots on a piece of paper using six different colored markers. Then, cut out six carrots from construction paper in the same colors. Your toddler’s task is to match each colored carrot cut-out to the correct outline on the paper.
Skills practiced: Color awareness, creativity, fine motor
