Black Sesame Mochi

Advertisements

Nutty, delicious and chewy mochi cake pieces! These are a delicious and fun dessert to make at home for your family or for parties!

I made these on Christmas night this year since I was quarantining at home anyways. I bought black sesame powder & glutinous rice flour and finally made this recipe happen!

I LOVE black sesame flavors so making it into a mochi was a dream come true. This was so delicious!

I got my glutinous rice flour at 99 Ranch, which is an Asian grocery store! You can also check out Mitsuwa or Hmart! Glutinous rice flour is NOT the same as brown rice flour or white rice flour and should not be subbed.
