Gluten-Free Chocolate Walnut Brownies

Paleo, dairy-free and grain-free brownies made with almond and coconut flour, packed with walnuts and melty chocolate chunks in each bite!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 cup and 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks
  • 3/4 cup walnuts crushed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325F. line a. 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together eggs and coconut sugar. Stir in almond butter, almond milk and vanilla extract. 
  • Add in almond flour, coconut flour and cacao powder. Fold chocolate and crushed walnuts in with a spatula. Pour into prepared pan and top with extra chocolate + crushed walnuts.
  • Bake for 20-22 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack and cutting into 16 bars!
