Yogurt Pear Waffles

Advertisements

These yogurt pear waffles are one of those simple, comforting breakfasts that feel homemade and nourishing without requiring anything fancy. Soft on the inside, lightly crisp on the outside, and naturally sweet from ripe pear, they are a go-to option for babies, toddlers, and adults alike!

Made with protein-rich yogurt, pantry staples, and real fruit, these waffles are perfect for slow mornings at home, quick weekday breakfasts, or stocking the freezer for busy seasons of motherhood. The pear adds moisture and gentle sweetness, which means there’s no need for refined sugar, making them especially great for baby-led weaning and toddler meals.

One of the best parts about this recipe is how adaptable it is. You can grate the pear for a softer texture, dice it for little fruit bites, or add optional ingredients depending on your child’s age and preferences. The batter comes together quickly in one bowl, and the waffles freeze beautifully, making them ideal for meal prep.

If you’re looking for a toddler-friendly breakfast that feels cozy, wholesome, and easy to make with ingredients you already have, these yogurt pear waffles are a recipe you’ll come back to again and again.

How I Serve These For My Kids

For my 2-year-old, I cut the waffles into long strips. They’re easy to hold, soft to chew, and perfect for dipping into yogurt or nut butter.

For my 11-month-old, I cut the waffles into small cubes. The soft texture makes them easy to manage, and the bite-sized pieces are great for practicing self-feeding.

Because these waffles are naturally soft and made without added sugar, they work really well for both ages and can be adjusted as your baby’s eating skills grow!
