Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup flour all-purpose or oat flour
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 red apple grated

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder optional for babies under 1
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the egg, yogurt, and milk until smooth.
  • Stir in the flour and oats to mix until fully combined.
  • Add any optional ingredients you are using, then mix gently.
  • Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat and lightly grease with butter or coconut oil.
  • Scoop small portions of batter onto the pan to form pancakes.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook another 1 to 2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
