These are soft, fluffy, and made with simple, nourishing ingredients that are perfect for little ones. It’s one of those recipes I come back to again and again, just switching up the fruit depending on what we have on hand like grated apple, pear, mashed banana, or berries!

Why You’ll Love These Apple Oatmeal Pancakes

  • Soft and easy for toddlers to chew
  • Made with simple, wholesome ingredients
  • Naturally customizable with different fruits and add-ins
  • Quick and easy to make for busy mornings

Tips for Perfect Toddler Pancakes

  • Keep pancakes small for easy grabbing
  • Cook on low heat so the inside cooks through
  • Add a splash of milk if batter is too thick
  • Aim for a soft, fluffy texture

Easy Ways to Switch It Up

One of my favorite things about these apple oatmeal pancakes is how versatile they are. I make them often but rarely the exact same way twice.

  • Grated apple for a classic flavor
  • Grated pear for natural sweetness
  • Mashed banana for extra softness
  • Berries for a fun twist
  • Grated carrot for added nutrients

Why These Are Great for Toddlers

These pancakes are full of nourishing ingredients like oat flour, yogurt, and fruit, making them a balanced option for little ones. They are naturally soft, easy to chew, and perfect for developing eaters.

My 14-month-old absolutely loves these, and I love knowing she’s getting protein, healthy fats, and fiber in every bite.

Storage Tips

  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Reheat in a pan or microwave
  • Freeze for easy grab-and-go meals

If you’re looking for a simple, nutritious breakfast your toddler will actually eat, these apple oatmeal pancakes are a must-try. They are soft, customizable, and perfect for busy mornings.

This is one of those recipes I find myself making on repeat, just changing up the fruit depending on what we have on hand!
