Why You’ll Love This Shrimp Ramen Stir-Fry
- Quick & easy – dinner is ready in 20 minutes.
- One-pan meal – less cleanup, more time to enjoy.
- Customizable – swap in your favorite veggies or protein.
- Family-friendly – a dish both adults and kids will love.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- 8 oz shrimp – peeled and deveined. I like using medium shrimp because they cook quickly and evenly in a stir-fry.
- 2 packs ramen noodles – discard the seasoning packets; just use the noodles. Any brand works, but I recommend quick-cook ramen or fresh-style noodles for the best texture.
- 1 bell pepper – thinly sliced. Red, yellow, or orange peppers add sweetness and color.
- 1 cup mushrooms – sliced. Shiitake, cremini, or button mushrooms all work well.
- 1 cup broccoli florets – fresh or frozen, just cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 1 medium carrot – julienned or thinly sliced for crunch.
- ½ onion – thinly sliced. I used yellow onion, but white or red would also work.
- 2 cloves garlic – minced.
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger – grated. Optional, but adds a great layer of flavor.
- 2–3 tablespoons Japanese BBQ sauce – I used Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce, which adds a savory-sweet flavor and really ties everything together.
- 1–2 tablespoons oil – sesame oil adds great flavor, but olive oil or avocado oil work too.
- Salt + pepper – to taste.

Recipe Tips & Variations
- Make it spicier: Add chili garlic sauce or sriracha.
- Switch the protein: Try chicken, beef, or tofu instead of shrimp.
- Extra flavor: Add a splash of soy sauce or oyster sauce for depth.
- Veggie swap: Use zucchini, snap peas, or baby spinach for variety.
This shrimp ramen stir-fry noodles recipe proves that quick meals don’t have to sacrifice flavor. It’s the perfect balance of comfort food and fresh ingredients — ready in just 20 minutes.
