Toddler Workbook Activities: Part 15

These toddler workbook activities are easy to set up and focus on building early learning skills through fun, hands-on play. Each activity encourages counting, tracing, fine motor work, and name recognition using simple materials that are already in most homes!

1. Sketchbook – It doesn’t bleed through even with sharpie or markers.
2. Dot Markers – Use this for color, number or letter recognition. There is so much you can do with these markers!
3. Dot Stickers – Use this for color recognition and creative crafting. My toddler loves them!

1. Counting With Dot Stickers

Supplies:
Dot stickers
White paper
Markers

For this page, write the numbers one through seven and draw a small colored box next to each number. Toddlers match the dot stickers to the correct colored box. This activity helps with number recognition, color matching, and sticker placement.

2. Ripped Paper Apple Craft

Supplies:
Red construction paper
White paper
Glue

Draw an apple outline on paper. Hand toddlers a piece of red construction paper to rip into small pieces. They glue the ripped pieces inside the apple to “fill” it. This builds finger strength and simple gluing skills and can be done with any fruit or vegetable outline.

3. Tracing Christmas Trees

Supplies:
White paper
Markers or crayons

Draw six triangle-shaped Christmas trees. Encourage toddlers to trace around each tree slowly. Tracing helps them practice hand control, focus, and early writing strokes.

4. Ice Cream Scoop Counting

Supplies:
White paper
Dot markers
Markers

Draw six cones with circle scoops on top. Leave the scoops empty so toddlers can dot inside them and count as they go. This supports number recognition, counting, and color awareness in a fun, themed way.

5. Sunshine Name Craft

Supplies:
White or yellow paper
Markers
Glue
Scissors

Draw half a sun with triangle rays. Write one letter of your toddler’s name inside each ray. Create matching triangle cutouts with the same letters. Toddlers match the letters and glue them onto the correct rays. This strengthens name recognition and early letter matching.
