Here I am.. 2 months later and finally sharing about my Austin Trip near the end of 2021! I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to visit with one of my friends!
Austin honestly has LA vibes to me but is more spread out and more “relaxed”. They have many cute wall murals, coffee shops + brunch & is walking-friendly which I love!
I shared about:
- WALL MURALS + AUSTIN LAKE
- COFFEE SHOPS & DONUTS SPOTS
- BREAKFAST/BRUNCH SPOTS
- HAPPY HOUR SPOTS
- LUNCH/DINNER SPOTS
Scroll down to see my recommendations. I miss this trip so much already!

3. Greetings From Austin – South Congress
Right across from the Wildflowers Wall!

4. I Love You So Much – South Congress
This wall is one of the most famous street corners in Austin. It’s in South Congress, on one side of Jo’s Coffee!

5. Jesus Loves You More! Wall

6. Austin Lake
On the way from Downtown Austin to South Congress! It was such a beautiful walk!

COFFEE SHOPS & DONUTS
1. Eat Prim & Proper at Neighborhood Goods – South Congress
Happy face lattes! The coffee shop is located in a local goods store – they have home supplies, lotions, clothing, dog supplies, etc. It’s a great place to find little souvenirs or gifts for yourself!

2. MaΓ±ana – South Congress
Delicious sea salt chocolate chip cookie & lattes! A great place to just hangout and chill π

3. Codependent Coffee & Cocktails
The interior is beautifully designed. There’s modern vibes and is a great place to hangout with friends or do work!

If you love donuts, I highly recommend this spot! I walked here from the Love From Austin Wall (First photo in this blog). They have rotating seasonal flavors but they always seem to have such unique flavors worth trying!

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH
Tucked in a hotel & definitely my favorite brunch spot! The eggs were SO good and fluffy. Served with delicious sourdough and an arugula salad. The smoked salmon was top quality too. Such cute vibes here with indoor and patio seating.

2. Two Hands
I’ve tried this spot in New York but had to come back here! It’s located on a street with Prim & Proper and also Aba Restaurant in South Congress. The eggs are super fluffy here! Delicious food & great service too.

This is SUCH a cute spot to brunch. We finished out trip with our last meal at Josephine House! The service was amazing. They converted a home into a restaurant so it has very homey vibes. The vegan blueberry banana bread was SO good. I need it again! I also got the breakfast tostada with 2 eggs, avocado and a yummy salsa on top!!

HAPPY HOUR SPOTS
1. P6 at the LINE Hotel Austin
Come here for sunset and you won’t regret it! It’s beautiful!

This is at the Aloft Hotel! They have cornholes and big jenga to play!

LUNCH/DINNER FOODS
A top recommended restaurant! Make reservations because it’s likely you will wait a long time without it. Make it ahead of time because it books out quickly. I LOVED the garlic hummus, pork belly and salmon. It’s mediterranean food which is my favorite!

There are multiple Torchy’s Tacos in Austin! This was our first meal here. I got the chicken tinga taco and chips & guac to share since we had donuts before this meal!

OH, WE ALSO GOT PIERCINGS
We were walking along South Congress Street and saw STUDS!! I’ve always wanted a cartilage piercing but was scared to do it myself. We both literally went on their site to book an appointment within 30 minutes and that’s how this all happened.
They have multiple locations nationwide but it was just a little something spontanous which reminds me of this trip every time I see the piercing!

Looking through all the photos of this makes me miss the trip! Hope you enjoyed this blog & if you went to Austin, let me know what else you recommend! π
