Mornings in my house are busy—between feeding a newborn and keeping up with my energetic toddler, I need quick, nutritious breakfasts that my little one actually eats. That’s why these Apple Pie Pancakes have become a staple in our home for my toddler!

They’re made with whole wheat flour, naturally sweetened with applesauce, and packed with cozy cinnamon flavor—just like a warm slice of apple pie! Best of all? They’re toddler-approved and perfect for freezing to make mornings easier. My little one loves them so much that she asks for them all the time!

Why You’ll Love These Apple Pie Pancakes

✔ No Added Sugar – Sweetened naturally with applesauce and cinnamon.
✔ Nutritious & Filling – Made with a mix of whole wheat and all-purpose flour for fiber and texture.
✔ Toddler-Approved – Soft, fluffy, and easy for little hands to hold.
✔ Freezer-Friendly – A perfect make-ahead breakfast for busy mornings.
✔ Apple Pie Flavor – Tastes like a treat, but packed with wholesome ingredients!

Toddler-Friendly Serving Ideas

Plain & Simple – These pancakes are naturally sweet and delicious on their own!
With a Yogurt Dip – Serve with Greek yogurt for extra protein.
Apple Slice Topping – Add thin apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Nut Butter Drizzle – Drizzle with almond butter or peanut butter for a protein boost (if no allergies).

My toddler is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts so I give her sunflower seed butter!

Meal Prep & Freezing Tips for Busy Moms

As a mom of two, I love make-ahead breakfasts to save time in the mornings! Here’s how to store & freeze these pancakes:

🥞 Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the toaster or microwave.
🥞 Freezer: Let pancakes cool completely, then lay them on a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour. Transfer to a freezer bag and store for up to 3 months.
🥞 Reheating Tip: Pop them in the toaster or warm in a pan for a fresh, just-made texture.

These Apple Pie Pancakes have become a family favorite in my home. They’re easy to make, nutrient-packed, and freezer-friendly—everything a busy mom needs! Plus, my toddler asks for them all the time, which is a major win.

If you try these, let me know how your little one likes them! Drop a comment below or tag me on Instagram—I’d love to see your creations. 💛
